Someone in the west of Ireland is going to wake up a lot richer on Wednesday morning.

Yet another Euromillions draw has passed without anyone claiming the top prize, which was a record-matching €190 million on Tuesday night.

There was good news for one lucky Irish ticket-holder, however, as the top prize of €500,000 in the Ireland-only Euromillions Plus draw was claimed by a very lucky duck in the west of Ireland.

In the main draw, there were four winners of €1,504,612 for matching five numbers and one lucky star, while the largest amount won in Ireland was €180, with 51 people claiming that amount.

Thousands of Irish people won sums between €5 and €180; if you want to find out if you’re one of them, check your ticket and see if they match the winning numbers on the night, which were 6, 24, 32, 48 and 50. The Lucky Stars were 1 and 5.

The winning numbers for the Euromillions Plus draw, meanwhile, were 3, 11, 12, 17 and 47, which are particularly worth checking out if you purchased your ticket in the west.

With no winner yet again, the jackpot is set to be the biggest ever come the weekend. It has to be won sometime; who’s to say it’s not going to be by you on Friday?
