Someone in Ireland is €500,000 richer after Friday night’s EuroMillions draw.
Tens of thousands of people throughout the country were no doubt hoping to see their numbers come up, with the main EuroMillions jackpot worth an estimated €57 million.
And while that prize (sadly) went without a winner, someone did win the EuroMillions Plus prize.
According to the National Lottery, the ticket was sold in Cork.
They urged everyone to double-check to see if they had the golden ticket.

The jackpot for the main draw has been rolling over since earlier this month, when someone in the UK won €138,716,863.
The winning numbers drawn for the jackpot were 25, 27, 39, 42, 46 and the lucky stars were 11 and 12.
Meanwhile, on the same evening, there were two Irish winners of the Ireland-only EuroMillions Plus draw.
