The unnamed player hails from Tallaght and the ticket in question was purchased in Dunnes Stores in Kilnamanagh.
Those winning numbers in question are 2 12 15 34 50 with Lucky Stars of 3 and 4.
“Congratulations to last night’s winner this is fantastic news for one of our EuroMillions players just on time for Christmas!" exclaimed an excited National Lottery spokesperson.
"We are urging all our players to check their tickets to see if their numbers have come up."
