Euromillions

The West is definitely awake today.

You may have heard over the weekend that a lucky Irish person had the winning Euromillions ticket and had grabbed themselves a whopping €29 million.

Well, the Mayo shop where the winning ticket was sold has finally been revealed.

The Garryduff XL store, Pound Road, Castlebar, sold the winning Quick Pick ticket as the National Lottery confirmed yesterday that a winner had been contacted.

The winner of the big lump sum of money has not come forward just yet and as you can imagine, is probably still in shock after realising that they had the golden ticket.

The lucky person became the 11th Euromillions jackpot winner in Ireland since it began in 2004 and Castlebar has gotten its second EuroMillions jackpot win in 13 years.
