Longitude is shaping up to be the highlight of July with acts like Hozier, alt-J and The Chemical Brothers hitting the main stage.

Nobody wants to miss a minute of the festival because of travel arrangements, so here’s what festival promoters MCD want you to know about getting to and from Marlay Park between July 17-19.

A shuttle bus will operate from George’s Quay in the city centre direct to Longitude Festival. Bus tickets are available for sale on a first come first serve basis at Marathon Sports BookingPrices for the Shuttle are €10 when booked online up to 10:00 on the morning of the event, and €15 for walk-up-on-the-day.

Attendees getting picked up by family and friends following the concerts are advised that road closures are in place; our recommended collection point is at Supervalu on Ballinteer Avenue.

Taxis

A taxi pick up area will be facilitated at our Lady’s School on Ballinteer Avenue.

Hailo customers are advised to avoid road closures and head towards the HAILO Pick up zone around Ballinteer Avenue! Be sure to wait until you are outside the park before you hail.

Private buses, coaches and mini-buses

This year there WILL be coach/bus and minibus parking available within Marlay Park, access is via College Road.
