Family searching for missing former Glenroe actor

The family of former Glenroe actor Diarmaid Lawlor is looking for help in their search for the young man.

Lawlor, who is 32 years old, has been missing since Friday October 28 when he was last seen at 6pm on Synge Street in Dublin.

He has been described by his family as 5’7″ (170cm) in height, of slim build, with a light beard and sandy brown hair. He was also wearing a black jacket and black jeans when he was last seen.

In a statement given to the Irish Times, Lawlor’s family described their loved one as “softly spoken and of a gentle nature”.

“We are very concerned for his wellbeing and anxious to get him home safe and well. Any information, no matter how small, is very important at this time. We would ask that you contact Kevin Street Garda Station if you have any information that could assist.”

Lawlor is an actor who played Ricky in the popular Irish soap Glenroe, and may Gate Theatre plays as a child.
