‘Fire and Fury’ author claims that the book’s contents will end Trump’s presidency

The award-winning journalist and author published his latest book Fire and Fury earlier than planned due to ”unprecedented demand.”

Michael Wolff’s book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House hit shelves this week, broadcasting the author’s highly critical view of Donald Trump’s first year as US president.

Wolff is so sure in his beliefs that he’s revealed that he believes the contents of his most recent book will bring an end to Mr Trump’s presidency.

Wolff spoke to BBC radio about Fire and Fury, mentioning that the book’s conclusion is focused on how he believes Mr Trump’s inability to do the job is becoming ever clear.

“I think one of the interesting effects of the book so far is a very clear emperor-has-no-clothes effect,” Mr Wolff said in the interview.

“The story that I have told seems to present this presidency in such a way that it says he can’t do his job,” Mr Wolff said.

“Suddenly everywhere people are going ‘oh my God, it’s true, he has no clothes’. That’s the background to the perception and the understanding that will finally end … this presidency.”

President Trump, upon hearing of the book’s release, took to Twitter to voice his response:

The President described Mr Wolff as a “total loser who made up stories in order to sell this really boring and untruthful book.”

It’s understood that Trump’s legal team have since sent a cease and desist letter to Mr Wolff and continue to threaten libel lawsuits against him.
