Cork City Fire Brigade says the blaze has been brought under control.
The fire broke out at around 3pm this afternoon in the Togher Industrial Estate on the south side of the city.
Social media videos showed smoke billowing from premises within the industrial estate.

Cork fire brigade say they acted swiftly to bring the blaze under control using both ground crews and an aerial ladder platform to do so.
