Homenews

The good news story that we needed on a day like today.

The world is full of bad news these days, so when we see a good news story with a happy ending like this, it always brings a smile to our face. A dog became trapped on a Phoenix Park crag on Saturday morning, when members of the Dublin Fire Brigade from the Phibsborough Station had to intervene. They lowered the dog to safety, and he/she looked absolutely chuffed. Often in situations like these, pictures can tell a better story than a million words could. Beautifully captured by Stephen McCarthy of Sportsfile, take a look at the dog being rescued and lowered to safety: dog cliff Class.
