Some good news on the jobs front.
Fitbit, the company who make the wearable fitness wristbands, will be setting an office on Dublin’s Baggot Street by the end of 2016.
The company hope to employ 50 people before the year is out, and have plans to double that workforce by the end of 2017.
Minister for Jobs Mary Mitchell O’Connor took part in the announcement this morning and joked that she would be two stone lighter by the time the extra jobs are created in 2017.
