It comes after more than 100,000 Christmas travellers were affected when hundreds of flights were grounded from Wednesday night to early on Friday.

Military equipment was deployed to stop further drone chaos before the latest sighting, which occurred at around 5.10pm on Friday.
Earlier in the afternoon, the airport’s runway was reopened following recent disruptions. The airport said “there are knock-on delays and cancellations to flights and we continue to recommend that you check the status of your flight with your airline before setting out for the airport today”.
Officers still do not know who was behind the disruption.
If you’re flying to or from Gatwick, various airlines are encouraging passengers to check with the status of their flight before travelling.
