Founder of dating website ‘Where White People Meet’ says his website isn’t racist

Carl Kinsella

It sounds pretty racist.

Sam Russell, founder of American dating website ‘Where White People Meet’, has claimed that he isn’t a racist, offering the not-so-compelling evidence that he ‘dated a black woman once.’

Instead, Russell claims the website is about ‘equal opportunities’ and the website itself states that they ‘want our dating forum to be simple and inexpensive with the ability to connect like-minded people in a non-discriminatory fashion.’

It somehow evaded Russell that his website would probably seem a lot more non-discriminatory if he had called it literally anything else.

Russell was also quick to point out that anyone of any race can join the site, which is kind of a redundant point, since banning someone from a website because they’re not white would be illegal.
