There are some fancy resorts on our island.
Condé Nast Traveler is one of the most highly-rated luxury and lifestyle travel magazine in the world and it seems their readers love Ireland.
The magazine’s Readers’ Choice Awards are revealed every October and four Irish hotels have been named in the Top 10 Resorts in Europe category.
Trump International Gold Links & Hotel in Clare, Ashford Castle in Mayo, Powerscourt Hotel in Wicklow and Sheen Falls Lodge in Kerry have all made the list.
It’s fantastic news for those hotels because Condé Nast is hugely influential in the American travel market so they can expect an influx of new visitors.
