Fourth death confirmed in Dublin fire as little boy whose mum and sister died loses his fight for life

Even more sad news this evening.

Gardai have confirmed a fourth death a house fire in Clondalkin last night.

The four-year-old boy was the brother of one of the little girls who died earlier today.

The child passed away in hospital this evening.

The Irish Examiner had an update this evening – it reported that the 27-year-old woman who died in the blaze was named locally as AnneMarie O’Brien – she is believed to have been seven months pregnant.

Her daughter Paris, who was two, and three-year-old Holly O’Brien, were also killed.

A 30-year-old woman, believed to be little Holly’s mum, remains in critical condition in hospital this evening.

The apartment block in Clondalkin was used by the domestic violence charity, Sonas, as support accommodation for women fleeing domestic abuse.
