Garda among three injured during incident in Roscommon

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.

Gardaí in Castlerea, County Roscommon are currently investigating a public order incident that occurred at the Rose Lawn area over the weekend.

A public order incident occurred on the morning of Sunday 9 December which left a male Garda injured and resulted in two other males requiring hospital treatment.

All involved have since been released from hospital.

According to a statement released by the Gardaí:

“The incident has been referred under section 102 of the Garda Síochána Act to the Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission and is currently being examined by them.”
