Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
A man is in a critical condition in hospital following an assault in Dublin in the early hours of Wednesday morning (2 September).
The assault occurred at Seville Place in Dublin 1 around 2.50am, where the man in his 40s received serious head injuries and was taken to the Mater Hospital.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident and for any persons with information to come forward.
Gardaí are also appealing for any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling the area at the time to make this available to Gardaí.
