Gardaí appealing for witnesses after serious crash in Dublin leaves man in his 20s seriously injured

A young man has also been taken to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries following the incident.

Gardaí in Blanchardstown are appealing for witnesses in relation to a serious injury road traffic collision that occurred on the Navan Road at Canterbury Gate in Dublin on Monday evening at approximately 6pm.

The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital where he is currently receiving treatment for serious injuries.

A young man who was a passenger in the vehicle has also been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The road remains closed and a technical examination is due to take place.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.

Any road users who were travelling on the M3 Navan Road towards Mulhuddart and near Canterbury Gate on Monday between 5.45pm to 6.15pm and who may have camera footage, including dashcam, is asked to make it available to Gardaí.
