Gardai have charged a man in relation to the Bray Boxing Club murder

Gardaí investigating the fatal shooting of Bobby Messitt in Bray Boxing Club on 5 June have charged a man in his 30s in relation to the murder.

The man was arrested on Friday and held at Bray Garda Station.

Bobby Messitt (50), an innocent bystander, was shot dead in the incident on 5 June. Two other people were injured during the incident, including boxing coach Pete Taylor.

A woman in her 20s was arrested on Saturday and has now been released without charge.
