Gardaí are currently investigating the circumstances around a body found in Rathmines, Dublin.
The body of a woman in her 40s was found at her home in Rathmines at around 12.30pm on Stephen’s Day. The house was on Rathmines Avenue, according to the Gardaí. The woman has not been publicly named.
The scene has remained preserved for forensic examination.
A post-mortem examination is expected to be carried out tomorrow morning, 27th December, 2017 the results of which will determine the course of a Garda investigation
