A section of the River Dodder in Bushy Park has been closed off following the discovery of a body.

A passer-by found the body in the Rathfarnham area in the early hours of Sunday morning, who then alerted the Gardaí. The body was removed from the river with the assistance of the Dublin Fire Brigade. No details of the man's identity or age have been announced, and the Gardaí have sealed off the area where the body was discovered for preservation.
