Staff were threatened by the man and a sum of cash was handed over.
Gardaí are investigating a burglary which occurred at a premises on the Muckross Road in Killarney in Kerry.
The incident occurred at approximately 7.25pm on Friday (15 October).
A lone man with his face covered, entered the premises holding a knife.
Staff were threatened by the man and a sum of cash was handed over before the man then fled the scene.
No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.
Gardaí said on Sunday that investigations into the incident are currently ongoing.
