A disgusting video…
An investigation has been launched by Gardaí into a video which emerged online of a man putting a kitten in a frying pan before kicking it and throwing it around the room.
The video, which is a recording of a Snapchat, was shared online and in WhatsApp groups around the country over the past number of days.
A Garda spokesperson told JOE: “Garda in Kilrush are investigating an incident of Offences against Animals, two males have been questioned in relation to the incident which occurred in the early hours of the 13 August 2018. The incident occurred in Cooraclare, Clare.”
Irish animal charity My Lovely Horse has also shared an update on the welfare of the kitten abused by the man in the video.
The kitten, named Colin, was rehoused as the investigation is ongoing, was seen to by a vet and is not believed to have suffered any serious injuries.
