It’s being described as a sudden death incident.
The body of a female has been discovered in the water that’s off the coast of Bundoran, Donegal.
Gardaí are treating the investigation as a sudden death incident.
The body was discovered at approximately 09:00 on 30 June and it has since been moved to the mortuary at Sligo University Hospital.
A post-mortem is due to take place in the coming days and the result will determine the course of the investigation.
