Rumours a detective known as Rex Banner has been drafted into help have yet to be substantiated.
Gardaí in Kilkenny are on the lookout for the person, or people, responsible for the theft of nine beer kegs from outside a pub on High Street in Kilkenny City earlier this week.
According to the Kilkenny People, the thief or thieves responsible stole the kegs in the early hours of 1 November after a delivery had been made to the premises, pulling up in a vehicle, loading the kegs and making a quick getaway.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who has any information or who might have spotted anything suspicious, to contact them on 056-7775000.
Previous incidents of a similar nature would indicate the culprit isn’t always easily apprehended…
