Dave Hanratty

It’s BROOKS-MANIA, baby!

Garth Brooks is finally in town and his run of Croke Park shows are actually happening.

Many, many years in the making, the saga will finally concluded across this and next weekend.

Excitement was in the air when the man gave a press conference on Thursday:

Yes indeed, the entire nation is at fever pitch. If you’re heading along, you might want to check out the stage times right here.

And you also might wish to be aware of the potential disruptive impact that Garth’s visit to the Emerald Isle may have upon the public at large.

Enter Dublin Airport, and a warning for those in need of taxis, be it at the airport or generally across the capital.

“Demand for taxis is likely to be very high in Dublin this weekend due to the large Garth Brooks concerts taking place in Croke Park,” notes a statement issued by Dublin Airport on Friday afternoon.

“Passengers may wish to consider other options when travelling to/from Dublin Airport, including bus or drop-off/pick-up.”

A list of bus routes servicing the airport can be found here.
