Gerry Adams really didn't like the way that Enda called the election

The general election will take place on February 26...

... and things are already heating up between our prospective Taoisigh.

Gerry Adams has taken to Twitter to express his distaste for the manner in which Enda Kenny announced that he would be travelling to Áras an Uachtaráin to ask for the dissolution of the Dáil in order to call a general election.

He was joined in his criticism by his party colleague Caoimhghin Ó'Caoláin.

Adams is clearly miffed that 'T' (Enda) announced his intentions without giving anyone else in the Dáil a chance to respond. O'Caoláin had some stronger words.

This is clearly going to be an extremely contentious election.
