Subway are clearly on a roll here in Ireland as they announce a whopping 1800 new jobs

180 new stores and nearly 1,800 new jobs are on the way for Ireland as Subway announces that they plan to expand their business here in Ireland over the next few years.

According to The Irish Times, around 400 of those jobs will come this year, and the rest will follow in the next six years or so, as the company looks to finish this phase of expansion in 2020.

During 2014, the company will invest around €5 million as they open 40 new locations throughout the country. Subway already operates over a hundred shops in Ireland, 16 of which they opened just last year. They’re clearly happy with results and are back for another bite (sorry) of the action.
