Would you have sex with a robot?
A survey by VoucherCodesPro asked almost 3,000 sexually active Britons whether or not they’d date or have sex with a droid – and the results certainly came as a surprise to us.
21% of respondents said that they would have sex with a robot, with most of them justifying it by saying that the robots would probably ‘be very good at it’.
Not everyone who answered had such tawdry plans for the advancement of technology, with 45% saying that they would make a robot do the cooking and cleaning, and 41% saying that they’d have a conversation with it.
38% said that they’d make the robot do their work, and 12% said that they’d play a sport with it.
Dr Ian Pearson, a leading futurologist, has hypothesised that by 2050 human-robot sex will be more common than human-human sex, according to the Daily Mail.
We’re not sure we’d have sex with a robot, unless it was some kind of sexy robot…
