Here’s how much longer we can expect to have the sun in our lives

Carl Kinsella

weather forecast

Ireland is a different country beneath the sun.

Whether it’s picnics in the park, pints by the canal or hikes through Glendalough — everything becomes that little bit sweeter when the sun is out.

There’s good news on that front, as well, as Met Éireann has reported that the weather will remain “dry, settled, and warm” until later in the week.

As far as temperatures, Met Éireann has reported highs of around 18 degrees on Tuesday, and dry weather set to continue through Wednesday.

Unfortunately, Thursday is when our early summer will draw to a close: “Some uncertainty in the timing of the breakdown of the dry spell, but there is reasonable evidence to suggest some patchy outbreaks of rain may arrive in southern areas during Thursday.”

More rain from Friday onwards “seems likely” according to Met Éireann.

Nice while it lasted though, eh?
