At least we’ve an amazing weekend of sport on TV.
Olympics, UFC, football, GAA, boxing and a host of brilliant new titles on Netflix and in your cinema .
There’s no reason to leave your couch this weekend, which is a good thing considering the fact that Ireland’s weather is shaping up to be seven shades of shite over the weekend.
According to the good people at Met Éireann, it’s set to be wet and windy today with spells of heavy showers and rain continuing throughout the day. South to southeast winds will be strong and gusty. Umbrellas at the ready then lads, we don’t want to see scenes like this all over the country.
Luckily, Saturday night will see a break in the disgusting conditions.
What would we do with this temporary spell of decent weather? Run to the shop and stock up ahead of UFC 202 of course!
Sunday morning is set to be dry with some early sunshine but clouds will be gathering as the afternoon draws closer. In the afternoon, rain will spread from the southwest of Munster to cover the rest of the country by evening.
All in all, stay indoors and relax on the couch.
