Enda Kenny is currently in Washington for his annual visit to the White House ahead of St. Patrick's Day and Thursday didn't get off to the best start for the current Taoiseach. While addressing a packed room of journalists, including Today FM's Gavan Reilly, he made one of the biggest errors one could possibly make. He got the President's name wrong. Not only that, he mistook him for the person who was last president over eight years ago, George Bush. Gavan shared the moment on social media, explaining that Kenny opened his speech by saying that he received the invitation to visit after the election of "President Bush". https://twitter.com/gavreilly/status/842362003188523008 Oh, Enda. It's not the first time he's made a blunder on a US visit, having tried and failed to shake the hand of President Obama in 2015.
