"There are a number of unplanned pregnancy agencies that may have a hidden agenda."
The Health Service Executive of Ireland has issued a warning relating to a number of unplanned pregnancy websites that bear a similar name to their official 'My Options' site.
As flagged on Twitter by the Irish Family Planning Association, one such website positions itself as a supportive resource for women in search of abortion care, only to deliver an alternative message.

The HSE has moved to highlight a number of unplanned pregnancy agencies "that may have a hidden agenda", noting that such unreliable agencies "may not be upfront about their intentions and may try to influence a person's decision".
As such, the HSE recommends that people only visit a recognised or HSE-funded unplanned pregnancy counselling agency.
If people are researching online, look for the HSE logo.

People are also advised to look out for the following signs that an agency or counselling service may not be reputable:
- They may require you to wait a long time between appointments.
- They may only meet you in public places such as hotels or car parks.
- There are delays in giving you pregnancy test results – these should be given immediately.
- Their leaflets or information do not give information about all your options or use language that is very negative or frightening.
- They may show inappropriate images, videos or DVDs as part of a counselling session, which are designed to influence a woman’s decision.
Meanwhile, Sinn Féin TD Louise O'Reilly has condemned the harassment of women attending a GP clinic in Galway by anti-abortion groups on Thursday.
"This is deplorable behaviour, but ultimately it is unsurprising and was predicted by many," said O'Reilly.
"The Minister [Simon Harris] needs to indicate the definitive time-frame for this legislation to be implemented and he must also outline what he is doing to ensure the safety of patients and GPs in the meantime.
"For anyone experiencing a crisis pregnancy, they should not be afraid of this harassment. They can call 1800 828 010 and discuss all their options in confidence," O'Reilly added.
