IKEA has just made all of our lives much easier with today’s big change

Yes please.

Carl Kinsella

Ever since IKEA opened its doors in Dublin back in 2009, nothing has been the same.

It’s fair to say that the Swedes came in and changed the game on the furniture front and we’re all pretty pleased they built their big airplane-hangar full of flatpack furniture out in Ballymun.

Today, the furniture giant has made it even easier for its Irish customers to get what they need by launching online shopping. Starting November 16, Irish shoppers will be able to access IKEA’s thousands of items at the click of a button, which we imagine will end up with more than a few people drunkenly coming home and putting out orders for cheap lamps and coffee tables that they don’t even need.

Now if they’d just assemble it for us as well we’d be sorted.
