The folks at the Washington Post have produced an exceptional graphic to illustrate just what a difficult task those looking for the black box recorder of missing Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 face.
After a ship detected some deep sea signals earlier this week the search focussed on this area of the Indian Ocean. But if the black box is in this location, the plane itself could be resting at an incredibly deep spot on the ocean floor.
This graphic shows just how deep this part of the ocean is.
