The bus that had become stuck was removed in the early hours of this morning.

An investigation has been launched by Bus Éireann after a double decker bus got stuck under a bridge after accidentally taking a wrong turn on Friday night. The bus, which was carrying passengers on the 220 Ovens to Carrigaline route, became stuck under a bridge after taking a turn on Church Road towards Douglas by mistake. The bus became stuck under the bridge, with a height of 3.4 metres, at approximately 11.15pm on Friday night. https://twitter.com/CorkSafetyAlert/status/1314695889932496896 Gardaí attended the scene and no injuries were reported. Passengers were evacuated safely from the bus and a substitute bus took them onwards to Carrigaline.
