Gardaí have launched an investigation after a man was observed utilising blue lights on a private car attempting to pull over a vehicle occupied by plain clothes Gardaí in Dublin. The man was observed in Baldoyle by Gardaí at approximately 3pm on Thursday and it is believed he attempted to pull over an unmarked patrol car occupied by members of Divisional drug unit of An Garda Síochána dressed in plain clothes. After searching the car in question, a number of counterfeit items were seized by Gardaí. No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing. In a statement to JOE, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said: "On Thursday 9 April at approximately 3pm, Gardaí observed a private car utilising blue lights in the Baldoyle area.
