Brooke Scullion missed out on a top 10 spot in the competition’s second semi-final.

Ireland has not qualified for the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final.

Derry native Brooke Scullion was selected in February to represent Ireland at the competition in Italy with her pop anthem ‘That’s Rich’.

She sang the song at the second semi-final of the Eurovision on Thursday (12 May), with her energetic performance – complete with fireworks – receiving a rapturous response from the crowd in Turin.

Despite this, however, Ireland was not one of the 10 countries selected to progress to the next stage of the competition.

Australia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Sweden will instead be heading to the final, which takes place on Saturday.

You can watch Brooke’s semi-final performance of ‘That’s Rich’ below.
