There is already two Status Yellow weather warnings in effect in the Republic of Ireland. One is a snow-ice warning for Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo which will last until 11am on Thursday. The other is another low temperature/ice warning for the Republic of Ireland that is scheduled until Thursday midday. Met Éireann's forecast states that the cold snap is expected to last until Friday afternoon. The Irish meteorological service's national outlook says that conditions are set to become "milder, often wet and windy" from this point.
