The results are in and Ireland’s quickest broadband provider has been announced.
And the winner is *drumroll* Virgin Media.
According to research done by independent tester Ookla, Virgin Media is the quickest internet service provider in all of Ireland.
The research consisted of speed tests on one million Irish internet users across the four main providers, over a six month period.
During the extensive research period, Virgin Media delivered broadband speeds of 123.65 Mbps across Ireland. That’s approximately double that of Eir, its nearest competitor.
Well done Virgin. Well done indeed.
