Panda Recycling is expanding in 2015…

Great news folks! We’ve just received word that a major expansion at Panda Recycling in Dublin will see 50 new jobs created at the firm over the next six months.

Panda already employes over 650 people in Ireland and the new jobs will be across sales, marketing, legal and operations.

According to the company, the recruitment drive will consolidate Panda Recycling’s position as the largest Irish owned and managed recycling company in the country. Good for them…

Speaking about the announcement Panda’s CEO Brian McCabe said: “These jobs reflect Panda’s continuing growth and expansion in what is a highly competitive and challenging market.

“They are high-end positions that will help us to continue to lead the field in innovation and also to deliver better, faster and cleaner waste management and recycling services to more and more people”.

The company has experienced strong growth in the past four years, more than doubling its workforce since 2010 (when it employed just 300 people) and increasing turnover by 80% in the period.

The company now plans to invest some €5 million in the business this year, in new infrastructure and a new hybrid fleet.
