An Irish tourist has gone missing in Australia

The New South Wales Police Force has confirmed that an Irish citizen has gone missing while on holidays in Australia.

In a Facebook post, the NSW Police shared details of Craig Lambe, aged 25, who was last seen yesterday in Kingsford, Sydney.

The statement read, “Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a tourist who was last seen at Kingsford yesterday.

Officers from Eastern Beaches Local Area Command received information about 9.30am today (Tuesday 12 December 2017), following concerns for the welfare of an Irish National visiting the country.

Craig Lambe, aged 25, was last seen leaving a home on Middle Street, Kingsford about 12.30pm yesterday (Monday 11 December 2017).

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall with a medium build and brown hair.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to this behaviour being out of character.”

The statement went on to say that it is believed Craig does not have access to money or a mobile phone. Anyone with knowledge of Craig’s whereabouts is urged to. contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
