The incident took place at about 1.45pm on Thursday.

Gardaí in Terenure are investigating an aggravated burglary, which saw two men threaten an elderly woman at knife-point. The incident took place at approximately 1.45pm in a house at Lavarna Grove, Terenure on 8 March. According to Gardaí, the men called to the house under the pretence of checking the woman's water pressure. The woman who is in her late '80s, allowed them enter the house, at which point they threatened her with a knife, before leaving with a small sum of cash. Gardaí have confirmed that the woman was uninjured in the incident.
