JCB drives into Limerick McDonald’s in failed burglary attempt

The incident took place in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Gardaí have launched an investigation into the burglary of a McDonalds in Castletroy, Limerick.

The incident, which involved a JCB digger took place at 2.50am on Tuesday, 20 March.

The teleporter damaged the outlet’s main entrance, but, according to Gardaí nothing was stolen.

The above imaged was taken by Daithi O’Brien at approximately 7.12am, however, the digger has since been removed for examination.

Investigations are ongoing.
