It could be a handy way of making a few quid for the festive season.
Leading sports retailer JD Sports are looking to fill approximately 1,000 temporary positions in 38 stores throughout Ireland in the run-up to the busy festive season.
JD are now taking applications for temporary roles in stores in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway, Waterford, Belfast and other outlets throughout the country, the majority of which are for sales assistants.
JD say that 20% of staff who fill temporary Christmas positions are retained and some who have done so in the past have gone on to manage JD stores.
