A lottery player from Kerry is Ireland’s latest millionaire after Friday night’s draw.

Lotto players in Kerry are being urged to check their tickets after someone in the Kingdom purchased a wining lottery ticket worth one million euro.

The winning ticket was a Daily Millions Quick Pick ticket, bought on the Mangor Road in Tralee.

This is the 24th millionaire created through National Lottery games in 2018 – the equivalent of two a month and rounds off a year in which almost €440 million was paid out to players in prizes.

The winning numbers were: 2, 7, 9, 15, 20, 26 and bonus number 29. So if it turns out you’re the lucky winner, remember that we’re the ones who reminded you to check your ticket.

The winning ticket was purchased in Applegreen Tralee, where manager Ian Cronin said he was thrilled at the news: “This is fantastic and great news coming during Christmas week.

“We are a very busy shop with a lot of local business but Tralee has a lot of visitors at this time of the year so who knows.  This will create a great buzz in the store the very best of luck to whoever the winner is.”
