A man in his 20s arrested in connection with the knife attack in Stoneybatter in Dublin last weekend has been charged.

He is scheduled to appear before Dublin District Court, Criminal Courts of Justice (Court 4) on Tuesday morning (11 February).

Three men were assaulted in the incident that occurred in the Dublin 7 area on Sunday afternoon.

The three men - whose ages range from mid-20s to mid-40s - were taken to hospital for treatment.

Two of the men's injuries were described as "serious but not life-threatening", while the other is said to have less serious injuries.

In a statement, a Garda spokesperson said the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
