Just don’t touch his drum set.

Viewers at home were treated to a special St Patrick’s Day episode on Thursday night with a variety of guests gracing the Late Late studio.

Republic of Ireland boss Stephen Kenny chatted about his hopes for the future of Irish football while live-wire comedian Oliver Callan celebrated Paddy’s Day via a host of well-known Irish voices.

Moya Brennan and legendary group Clannad looked back on decades of success as they get set to embark on their farewell tour and Bell X1 frontman Paul Noonan lent his skills in accompaniment for a unique performance.

There was plenty more as well, but undoubtedly the moments of the night came as Olympic gold medal hero Kellie Harrington and Hollywood actor John C. Reilly burst into song.

The Late Late Show Twitter account put it perfectly, there’s no end to her talents.

And of course, John C Reilly added his voice to proceedings with his version of ‘Wild Rover’.

All in all, probably not what we were expecting when we sat down to watch their interviews.
