Two Russian cosmonauts are currently attempting to install live-streaming HD cameras on the ISS in order to give us a better picture of future space walks and of Earth.

Expedition 38 is currently underway on the International Space Station (ISS) and you can check it out live in the video below.

Here’s what NASA have to say about the mission: “Expedition 38 Commander Oleg Kotov and Flight Engineer Sergey Ryazanskiy of the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) will venture outside the orbiting outpost in a second attempt to install a pair of cameras on the hull of the station’s Zvezda Service Module.

“The cameras are part of a Canadian commercial endeavour with Roscosmos designed to downlink Earth-observation imagery to Internet-based subscribers. The two cosmonauts also plan to retrieve an experiment package housed on Zvezda’s hull.”

So there you have it… Tune in to watch Commander Kotov and Flight Engineer Ryazanskiy attempt to complete their mission, or alternatively, you could always look up and squint. You might see them floating by (although, you probably won’t).
