The footage is part of an ongoing investigation.

Police have issued a warning over footage circulating of the Liverpool bomb explosion on Sunday (14 November) and have asked people not to share it.

Merseyside Police reminded social media users on Monday morning that the video is crucial evidence in “a live and ongoing investigation” and should not be distributed.

Writing on Twitter, the force went on to say that not only is the video sensitive material in what has now been declared a terrorist attack, but it “may show bystanders, witnesses and the victim who was injured” and aside from causing distress, sharing it could jeopardise the investigation.

A taxi driver – thought to be a man by the name of David Perry – is believed to have locked the door to his vehicle after seeing the explosive, preventing further damage, injury, and loss of life during the incident at Liverpool Women’s Hospital.

Four men have been arrested in connection with the incident.
