Look out for the controversial ‘Let’s go on the beer Kurtley Beale’ Irish flag at the Lions match today

It’s a little bit insensitive considering the Aussie star’s much publicised troubles with booze but we’re sure it was all meant in good fun.

We’ve seen some brilliant Irish flags on the Lions tour so far, from the Paul O’Connell boomerang tricolour to the Waltzing O’Driscoll flag that deservedly got plenty of attention in Brisbane last week.

Some people are bound to find this latest effort a little bit insensitive given that Kurtley Beale has endured problems with alcohol and only recently checked himself into rehab for treatment, but we’re sure that the Irish fans who were spotted with in Southbank in Melbourne ahead of the second test today weren’t trying to offend anyone.

We’ve a feeling this might well be spotted during coverage of the game a little later on, so if you’re watching, keep an eye out for it.
